Monday nights we have two beginners sessions. Both start at 6.30 from the front of the Complex:
Complete beginners is for people who have never run before or are recovering from injury. The session (on the track) comprises walking, jogging and exercises designed to improve strength, balance and confidence and to develop running techniques.
Beginners is for anyone who would like to start or return to running. It is a friendly and easy run with a choice of a two or three mile route. No pressure – if you need to take a breather you can walk!
Tuesday training starts at 7 pm from Aycliffe Sports Complex. This is a varied session on pavements or trails – see the training plan for details.
Thursday training meets at 6.15 at Shildon Sunnydale running track. This is a track session for all levels and with a different challenge each week.
Both the Tuesday and Thursday sessions include occasional time trials recorded in the club championship league to challenge and inspire you.
