Several Members began their weekend with a parkrun on Saturday morning, with the Club represented at the Cotsford Fields, Darlington South Park, Durham, Hackworth, Hartlepool, Sedgefield, Town Moor and Wilmslow events.

On Sunday, three Members took on the Sunderland Stroller’s Pier 2 Pier race, which is one of the most scenic runs in the North-East along the coastline from South Shields to Sunderland following the coastal paths. First home for the Club was Rob YOUNG, who finished the seven-mile run in 48:44. Jayne RUDD was next across the line for the Club, completing her run in 1:07.05, with Steph COLVIN not far behind in 1:08.14.
