Limited Free car parking is available at Greenfield Community College adjacent to the race start. Please follow directions from marshals
Changing facilities and toilets are available within Greenfield Community College.
Collect your race number before 9:30 on the day. Your race number and timing tag will be collected on race day from the race registration desk located in Greenfield Community College. Please check you race number and timing tag number are the same.
The tag is not disposable and must be returned at the end of the race even if you do not complete the race as they are chargeable £10 each. The timing tag must be worn at the start and finish of the race for your time to be recorded. NOTE! The Chip Timing is based on a gun start so there is only a race time.
Late Entry/Enquiries Desk will be situated in Greenfield Community College approx 10 minutes from the race start, there is a charge of £4.00 for entries on the day..
The warm up area for the 10k is the playing fields adjacent to the finish area. There are ample playingfields around but please watch out for the fun runners starting at 09.15 am.
The race will start in Burnhill Way at 10.00 am. Leave plenty of time (approx 10 minutes) to walk to the start from Greenfield Community College. Please do not warm up on Burnhill Way.
Please note that the 10K course consists of two large and a one small laps.
Water Station placed approximately 5.7k.
Please keep to the left at all times, and in the event of an emergency involving police, fire engines or an ambulance, you must give way!!
Headphones are NOT to be worn, you will be disqualified if seen wearing them.
PLEASE NOTE : THERE WILL BE NO PRESENTATION AT THE END OF THE RACE – ALL PRIZES WILL BE POSTED.
| FUN RUN NOTES |
1 FUN RUN COURSE (Start time is 09:15 a.m.) The Fun Run will start in the large football field near the 10k finish area opposite the car park. Please be aware that small children under 8-years must be supervised by an adult if running. Please use the underpass to the start.
2 The Route will start on the grassed area of Horndale park for the 1st k then cuts through Blue Bell Wood and links up with the Great Aycliffe way, the finish is just outside Greenfield Community College.
3 The surface is grass, tarmac & gravel paths,
